See-through product photography.
I`ve been thinking about product photography niche. It`s a highly payed job that often is not done right.
The most distracting for me is to see see-through product photograph on a package or poster that doesn`t have white background removed from the product area.
Product photographers are just too over-payed to do the job right. I know, not all of us use Photoshop to enhance images, or use it just for color correction and leave everything else to retouches, but come on... Client has no idea what looks good and what doesn`t (even if they tell they do) So... client should be advised to retouch see-through product to make transparent part of it look like it.
You can see it on almost every see-through product package.
It`s most of blenders, juicers, steamers and other small appliances on the shelf.
Ass well as baby bottles, pumps pacifiers etc.
Almost every package with color background has that issue. Manufactures, what are you thinking of?
Don`t you understand your product will look much better after proper retouching?
