Japanese Kimono Portrait Photo Session in the Studio

It’s been an honor to have this family visiting from West Coast. They’ve been planning for this photo session for some time. It’s been a family affair to get ready for the session. One of the kimonos is a heirloom item and another bought specially for the occasion. Grandma played the role of session’s director, making sure all the details were right: the sash, sleeves, pose, smile… Our model worked hard for the photos and we got amazing portraits for them to keep and treasure for life!
